WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?
We love cookies! Cookies are small text files that are sent to your computer when you visit most websites.
You can disable any cookies, but, this website may not function properly without them.
We'll assume that you are happy to receive all cookies on BirdsInsideMyHead.com or you can find information to manage or disable your cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies .
Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies to help with the ordering process -- it would be really tricky to fill up a shopping basket and pay for your items without them. We use three types of cookies.

Essential Cookies: Essential cookies make our website functional for you. It allows you to browse products, fill up your shopping trolley and order and pay for items.

Performance Cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand how our site is working and this information allows us to make improvements to your experience. All data is anonymous and is collected and stored by google. This data allows us to look at charts and graphs that show what people like, and, design more things that make people happy. It is not possible to identify individual users from this data - it is mostly information like "seven people looked at your penguin card today and five bought one". If we ever grow big enough as a company, we might also use this data to help us with advertising, though we are not there yet and will tell you when we are!
Other Cookies: Facebook and Twitter both use cookies when you share content from our website. In fact, they do that for most everyone, but, we thought we'd mention it.
Good question. I'm Susan Black, an artist based in London. My work has been exhibited worldwide in various venues, including The Whitney Museum, The Corcoran, PS1, The Kunst-Werke Berlin, and scores of other galleries and museums. I attended the amazing Skowhegan School of Art and have a BA from Hampshire College. I'm also proudly a tribal member of Penobscot Nation (Maine). The illustrated cards found here on Birds Inside My Head are a little dip into - well, trying to earn a living though I must admit drawing the birds inside my head all day every day might just be my dream life.
